For obvious reasons, she likes her moon.  Tonight, it’s full and she’s standing beneath it as though, if she can just conceive of how, she might hold it in her hand.  Knowing her, she might yet find a way.

                He lingers on the grounds, watching her pontificate aloud, watching her theorize; peruse the skyline for her next great mystery. He thinks a mirror would do her search more justice, for she is the riddle.

                From his spot in the distance, he puzzles her out, lays out her pieces. They don’t fit.

                But, at least, he knows she likes the moon.
